World Music Basket - Medium - 23 Instruments

The ‘World Music Basket - Medium - 23 Instruments’ is the perfect introduction to World Music and music-making for Early Years, Primary and Secondary settings, and also for use in the home.

We have put together as many different instruments in each basket as we can, making these great resources both for music and for cross-cultural studies. This is the second largest basket and it contains 23 instruments, all of them made by hand using natural and recycled materials.

Each collection comes in a sturdy bamboo storage basket and contains a 16 page Activity Guide - a brilliantly written handbook for the teacher or parent. The Guide not only gives you loads of ideas for developing musical and developmental skills, it also has a section showing how music and rhythm can be used to support the teaching of other subjects, from arithmetic to phonetics. The Guide has been written especially for non-musicians and is in three main sections;
