Thumb Piano (Mbira) - natural, coconut

The 'Natural Coconut Thumb Piano Mbira' is made from half a coconut with steel keys, and is played with both thumbs, producing a wonderfully soothing sound in any key.

This natural coconut Thumb Piano Mbira can be tuned (to a reasonable extent) by moving the metal keys in and out. The  African Mbira musical instrument are great for children and also for solo meditation for adults as it is impossible to play a wrong note when working with rhythmically repetitive improvisation!

Identical in construction to the 'Painted Coconut Thumb Piano Mbira' design, this instrument mbira has a classic, unpainted finish.
