These 43cm long wooden drum sticks have a soft puff head ideal for beating surdos, zabumbas and other large drums. The large padded tip creates a dull booming thud rather than a sharp crack that you might expect from a plastic beater. This provides the pulsating heartbeat at the core of samba music.
