Track 1: Sekar Jagat Dance (1993)

This welcome dance (means Worldly Flower) is performed by a group of girls carrying a bowl of flowers known as Canangsari. The happiness of the dancers in welcoming the guests is represented through the beautiful and energetic movements of the dancers.

Track 2: Cendrawasih Dance (1987)

This dance is a modern choreography that depicts the courting of two birds of paradise in the mating season. Choreographer: Swasthi Widjaja Bandem, Composers: I Nyoman Windha and I Wayan Berata.

Track 3: Siwa Nataraja Dance (1990)

The dance of Siwa is the symbol of the creation of the universe. As the supreme dancer, the Lord Siwa continues to dance and this is why the rhythm and order in the cosmos. His dance unleashed the primal energies. These energies coalesced and the universe was born.

Track 4: Rejang Dance (Anonymous)

This dance is performed by a group of females of the temple congregation. Although it is one of the simplest Balinese dances, Rejang possesses a dignity and elegance that are very beautiful.

Track 5: Pendet Penyambutan Dance (Anonymous)

This dance is used to be a ritual dance, performed at the temple courtyard. With some changes of the movements, this dance has become a welcome dance.

Track 6: Puspanjali Dance (1988)

This new composition is inspired by an old devotional dance form known as Rejang. This dance is performed as an introductory number to other dances or as a welcome dance.

Track 7: Oleg Tamulilingan Dance

This dance presents a flirtation between two bumble bees, a male and a female. They chase each other in a flower garden and the dance ends with the two bees fall in love.

Track 8: Belibis Dance (1984)

This dance portrays the beauty and the graceful of a flock of wild ducks in their natural surroundings.

Track 9: Tabuh Gilak (Anonymous)

Gilak refers to Galak which means bold. Gilak is a generic term for Balinese ostinato traditional music composition, and is played to accompany warrior dances and ritual procession as well.
