Our newest model Dream Drum with special Akebono tuning. Akebono is a beautiful Japanese pentatonic scale and it's very calming.

Like our award-winning Dream Drum, this new "Akebono" version is a pitched percussion instrument that is so easy and satisfying to play that it really is an instrument for everyone, from Early Years to getting on in Years and it is particularly brilliant in SEN settings.

You can play it solo, you can play ‘four hands’ (or more), you can add simple percussion instruments, you can sing along, add melodic instruments, use as a soundscape background for story-telling, you can play in small groups as well as much, much more. It's a wonderfully versatile instrument.

This model is lighter than our classic Dream Drum and is machine-pressed, not recycled from an old gas container. It comes in a storage/carry bag and with four beaters: 2 x rubber, 1 x suede and 1 x felt, to give you a wide range of tones.
