Djembe Drum 11" diameter, 40cm high, bamboo

Please Note:  The overall diameter of the djembe is approx 11”. It has a 10” playing head diameter (=/- 0.5”).

This ‘Djembe Drum 11 inch diameter, 40cm high’ is made from woven bamboo fibres, reinforced with resin for extra strength. The result is a beautiful drum that is much more compact and much lighter than traditional wooden models.

This bamboo djembe drum 10 inch - 40cm high Djembe has a playing head diameter of 10in, which is wider than many much taller Djembes and big enough for adult hands.

They are ideal for use in Early Years and SEN settings because they are so light, coming in at around a third of the weight of their wooden counterparts.

The '10 inch bamboo djembe drum' is also available in three additional sizes – 8 inch, 12 inch, and 14 inch. Hard wood wedges for quick and easy tuning of djembes are also available for purchase.
